Collection: Mr Brunel

We worked with Somerset-based printmakers Pressed and Folded to create our colourful Mr Brunel collection, celebrating the famous engineer and three of his most enduring projects. Each original image was designed and screen-printed by hand in Somerset, inspired by the colourful designs of Victorian advertising banners and posters. 

These items sit alongside our Brunel Quotes range, which takes inspiration from the different sides of the engineer: visionary, genius, but also a workaholic with a sharp wit and often a sharper tongue.

The quotes featured in this collection are taken directly from Brunel's own diaries and letters, and feature the iconic image of him standing in front of the launching chains of the Great Eastern.
