These colourful coasters make a wonderful souvenir of a visit to Bristol, where Brunel's mark has been left all across the city. The decorative patterns Brunel incorporated into many of his projects add a nostalgic feel to the designs, reminiscent of vintage stamps.
We worked with Somerset-based printmakers Pressed and Folded to create this colourful range, celebrating the famous engineer and three of his most enduring projects.
Each original image was designed and screen-printed by hand in Somerset, inspired by the colourful designs of Victorian advertising banners and posters.
