This funky tea towel features real Victorian desserts drawn by Bev Milward, as part of the SS Great Britain's project with Stokes Croft China.
Bev visited the ship and museums to do research for her designs, and was inspired by the wide range of food eaten by passengers on board ship:
'Whilst the passengers in First Class dined on Fricasee of Fowl and Plum Pudding, those in third class were fuelled by ship's biscuits. It was customary to give them a tap to dislodge the weevils that might lurk inside.'
Bev's designs depict this traditional Victorian fare with a quirky sense of fun.
