This delicate Crepe de Chine scarf features a pattern originally published by Morris and Co. This groups of artists and designers produced wallpapers and textiles in the style of the socialist painter, designer and poet William Morris (1834-1896).
Crepe de Chine is a French name (meaning “crepe of China”), for a light and fine dress fabric woven from silk.
