This delicate pendant is made up of a gold plated chain with one white star, hand-carved from tagua.
Tagua is a seed from a type of palm that grows in the South American rainforests. Often known as vegetable ivory, tagua is an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to animal ivory.
This necklace has been hand made by skilled craftspeople from the MYA group in Ecuador. Their workers are fairly paid for their labour.
