SS Great Britain Legacy Range

These products have been lovingly hand-made from Jarrah wood, taken from the deck of the SS Great Britain in 2023 during a mammoth conservation project. This deck was originally laid in the 1990s, as part of the ongoing preservation of the ship.

Each piece is unique, and buying one allows you to become part of the ongoing conservation and legacy of the SS Great Britain.

New for December 2025 we have new pieces by Johannes Roux from Shapes in Wood, each one uniquely hand carved. Based in South Gloucestershire, Johannes is a big fan of maritime history so has poured a lot of love into these homeware items.

We are also delighted to now stock items made by James McQuade, based in Fishponds, North Bristol. James started his woodworking journey after a 17 year career in retail and hasn't looked back since!

Our range of stunning pens and jewellery has been made by Simon Webb. Simon is a local artisan who makes quality stationery and jewellery from recycled wood, combined with beautiful metalwork and decorative elements.

The keyrings, games and homeware in this range are crafted by Ginger and Tweed, a woodworking duo based in Box. The team love to see the potential in a piece of wood and produce objects that add beauty and utility to any home.
