Meaning 'torn cloth' the word chindi is most commonly used in India to refer to rags or scraps of fabric. These chindi rugs are made from recycled cotton and are hand-woven by artisans in India who would otherwise struggle to find work which uses their skills.

Due to the way these rugs are made, by hand and by individual workers, the designs will often vary and not always look exactly like the photos you see online. If you are interested in purchasing one of these rugs, we would recommend visiting our gift shop in person.
