The book recounts some early Hotwells history, from its heyday as a Spa to the 20-year period when Hope Chapel, built in the 1780s, became Hope Centre.
Hope Centre became a beacon for Community Arts and the 40-year old pantomime is still a great Bristol tradition. The book reproduces images and stories from past pantomimes all created, written, designed, produced and performed by the local community.
